AHRA’s International Hero Award

This post is also available in: Arabic

Away from the spotlight, meaningful change often takes place unnoticed. Voices of the voiceless are not heard. This award seeks to celebrate the neglected voices of individuals – men, women, and children – such as journalists, doctors, judges, and filmmakers who have taken on the burden and responsibility of challenging oppression, injustice, and human rights abuses within their communities – the most inspiring heroes who risk their comfort, health, freedom, and even lives, to convey the truth and defend human rights, and whose work promotes peaceful change through tolerance and co-existence.

To be considered for this award, please complete the following form. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 13 August 2014.
